What Is Mobile Car Detailing?
Mobile car detailing means a professional detailer comes to you — your driveway, your workplace, your apartment parking lot — with everything they need to detail your vehicle on the spot. No dropping your car off. No waiting rooms. No Ubers back and forth. You go about your day, and we take care of your car.
At Jake's Auto Spa, we serve the entire Coeur d'Alene area including Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, and surrounding communities. We show up fully equipped — our own water, our own power, professional-grade products — and leave your vehicle looking better than it has in years.
What Happens During a Mobile Detail?
Every detail starts with an inspection. Jake personally walks around your vehicle, checks the interior, assesses the paint condition, and confirms which package is the right fit. No surprises at the end.
From there, depending on your package, the process typically includes:
Interior:
- Full blowout to remove dust and debris from vents, crevices and seams
- Deep vacuum of carpets, seats, and trunk
- Steam cleaning of all surfaces — kills bacteria, removes odors
- Window and mirror cleaning
- Dash, console, door panels and trim detail
- Leather conditioning or fabric shampooing if needed
Exterior:
- pH-balanced snow foam pre-soak
- Careful two-bucket hand wash — never a sponge that drags dirt across your paint
- Clay bar decontamination to remove bonded surface contaminants
- Paint sealant or ceramic coating depending on your package
- Tire and wheel detail
- Final inspection in natural light
How Long Does It Take?
- Express Interior: 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Classic Interior: 4–5 hours
- Full Detail: 6–7 hours
- Full Detail with Ceramic Coating: up to 15 hours (scheduled separately)
